Privacy Policy

Aurora — AI Companion · Effective date: 12 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Aurora mobile application ("Aurora", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Aurora is distributed via Google Play and RuStore; this policy applies to both versions unless stated otherwise.

1. Data we collect

Category	Details
Account data	When you sign in with Google (Google Play version) we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. When you sign in with VK ID (RuStore version) we receive your VK identifier and profile name. Guest accounts use a random identifier not linked to your identity.
Content you create	Messages you exchange with AI companions, your preferences and settings, and media (images, voice messages) generated for you within the app.
Purchase data	Records of subscriptions and in-app purchases made through Google Play Billing or YooKassa (RuStore version). We never receive or store your full payment card details.
Device & usage data	Device identifiers, device model, OS version, app usage events (collected via AppMetrica analytics), push notification tokens, and server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps.

2. How we use your data

To provide the service: delivering AI conversations, generating media, syncing your account across devices.
To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
To improve the app: aggregated analytics, crash diagnostics.
To provide support and ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse.

3. AI processing

Your conversations are processed by third-party AI infrastructure providers solely to generate responses and media: OpenRouter (text generation) and Kie.ai (image and voice generation). Messages are transmitted to these providers without your name or email attached. We do not use your conversations to train our own AI models and we do not sell your data.

4. Service providers

We share data only with processors necessary to run the service: Google (sign-in, push notifications, Play Billing), OpenRouter and Kie.ai (AI processing), Selectel (cloud object storage), YooKassa (payments, RuStore version), VK ID (sign-in, RuStore version), and AppMetrica by Yandex (analytics). We may also disclose data where required by applicable law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see Account deletion. After a deletion request, personal data is removed within 30 days; purchase and transaction records may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. tax and accounting regulations).

6. Age requirement

Aurora is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Depending on your place of residence, additional rights may apply under local law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. The current version is always available at this address.
